The challenge
Build a new working agentic solution on the UiPath Platform that addresses a real business problem. Your solution must fall under one of the three challenge tracks: UiPath Maestro Case, UiPath Maestro BPMN, or UiPath Test Cloud. All solutions must run on the UiPath Automation Cloud, with UiPath serving as the orchestration and governance layer.
Tracks / categories
- Track 1: UiPath Maestro Case: Build a solution that orchestrates dynamic, exception-heavy business processes using UiPath case management capabilities. Your solution should move work through stages, involve handoffs between agents, robots, and people, and keep humans in charge at key decision points.
- Track 2: UiPath Maestro BPMN: Build a solution that models and runs an end-to-end business process using BPMN 2.0 in UiPath Maestro. Your process should orchestrate humans, robots, agents, and APIs through a defined flow with clear tasks, decisions, and handoffs.
- Track 3: UiPath Test Cloud: Create agents that use UiPath Test Cloud to reimagine how software testing is designed, automated, executed, and managed across modern enterprise environments. Your goal is to show how agentic software testing can improve quality across AI-driven automations, enterprise applications, and connected business workflows.
Required tech & constraints
- All solutions must run on the UiPath Automation Cloud.
- You can include Agent Builder, Maestro, API Workflows, coding agents, and RPA where needed.
- External frameworks and LLMs are welcome, but UiPath must be the orchestration and governance layer.
- Solutions must be built in teams of 1 to 4 people.
- Team representatives must register for UiPath Labs access via a provided form.
Submission requirements
- A project page on Devpost: Include project title, track selection, a written description of the solution, the business problem it solves, how it works, and screenshots or images.
- A demo video: Maximum 5 minutes, showing the solution running, walking through the architecture, explaining agent orchestration, and human involvement. Upload to YouTube, Vimeo, or Youku.
- A public GitHub repository: Containing all project files needed to understand and run the solution. The README must include project description, UiPath components used, setup instructions, prerequisites, and indicate agent types. License under MIT or Apache 2.0.
- A solution built on UiPath Automation Cloud: Orchestration and agent logic must run through the UiPath Platform. GitHub README must list all UiPath components used.
- A completed presentation deck: Use the provided template and upload to a shareable storage link (e.g., Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox) with access set to 'all'.
- Optional: A short feedback form on UiPath products used.
Judging criteria
- Business Impact & Adoption Potential: Real-world relevance and production viability, clarity of business case, scalability.
- Platform Usage: Depth and deliberateness of UiPath platform usage (Agent Builder, Maestro, API Workflows, coded agents, external frameworks).
- Technical Execution, Feasibility & Versatility: Architectural soundness, code quality, production-readiness, handling of exceptions and edge cases.
- Completeness of Delivery: Functional prototype, public GitHub repo with README and setup instructions, demo video (max 5 minutes).
- Creativity & Innovation: Originality of approach, novel design decisions, unexpected orchestration patterns, creative problem framing.
- Presentation: Clarity, structure, and delivery of the live presentation.
